Maggie {Senior} ::Whitefish High School::

October 27th, 2011

Ok, this girl has got to be the cutest girl EVERRRRR. This is Maggie, and her hair, that I’m totally and completely in love with. We had a blast freezing our butts off at my grandparents property, playing in the field and apple trees. Maggie brought her mom along and we got some shots with her, which I LOVE!
Have a wonderful Senior year Maggie!! :)

Maggie’s mom really wanted a picture of her doing this! She has a picture of her like this when she was a little girl! :)

Taylor {Seniors} ::Whitefish High School::

October 26th, 2011

Meet Taylor!!! This beautiful girl is a Senior this year at Whitefish High School and I was so honored to photograph her in the special time in her life! We met up on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon and roamed around the cow poop field with her mom and brother and even got a couple shots with them! I love getting a few family shots while we’re at it! :) Thank you Taylor for being amazing and totally rocking the camera!!

Seana & Erik {Married} ::Lodge at Whitefish Lake::

October 24th, 2011

There’s always a rush of adrenaline that I get on a wedding day. No matter what I’m expecting the day to be like, I’m never let down. Especially at this particular wedding. The lovely and talented Tanya, of Tanya Gersh Events contacted me and asked if I’d like to photograph a small, private and intimate wedding on Whitefish Lake at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Uh, YES PLEASE! I love all weddings, but I LOVED this one. So small and special, and so much more than a wedding. It was a marriage of two beautiful souls, and the joining together of their family. Erik and Seana wanted it to be intimate and quiet, just their family and close friends, and not feel so wedding like. Tanya did an INCREDIBLE job creating the perfect atmosphere, with the vocal point being the bar and wonderful service, the amazing lighting design, and breathtaking centerpieces. My little detailed loving heart was over whelmed! :)
Erik and Seana, thank you for letting me witness your marriage and letting me photograph your very special and gorgeous day!!

Elyse {Senior} :: Columbia Falls High School ::

October 13th, 2011

This beautiful girl is Elyse. When we were talking before our shoot on the phone we were trying to figure out a place to shoot. I was itching for somewhere new because it always jump starts my creativity! I asked where she lived and she said kinda by highway 206….”yeah, same here!” Turns out we’re neighbors! She lives on the road right behind me! So why not take advantage of that and shoot on our road! I kinda love walking out my front door and being “at work”. Actually our shoot took two days cause it’s started to storm the first time and we were both freezing our butts off and it was dark and gloomy. Anyways, here they are! Elyse, thank you for being gorgeous! :D

Hailey {Senior} :: Whitefish High School ::

October 11th, 2011

I LOVED THIS SESSION!!! Hailey is so sweet and obviously gorgeous! She’s a ballerina and moves so well in front of the camera. We had fun exploring random spots on the East side of Kalispell, looking for cool light and textures on strangers run down garages. She also made my ballerina dreams come true when she brought out her pointe shoes and danced for me. Ahhhh! I can’t even find the words, I loved it so much. There’s something so beautiful and romantic about a ballerina :)

Kevin {Senior} :: Columbia Falls High School ::

October 10th, 2011

Meet Kevin. Super awesome Senior at Columbia Falls High School :) I asked Kevin what his favorite class was and he replied “Art Class” YES. I knew we’d get along…and that he’d appreciate his Senior Portraits, which makes me happy!! We had fun exploring random spots in “downtown” CF…never knew there were cool locations in our rinky dink little town! It’s all about the light ;)
Good Luck with your Senior Year, Kevin! :)

Michela & Natalie {Seniors} :: Whitefish High School ::

October 8th, 2011

Ohhhh my goodness. Michela and Natalie have got to be the prettiest girls at Whitefish High!!! I love senior sessions with best friends, it sets the mood for the night and everything is so fun and relaxed! Well, it usually is that way normally, BUT having your best friend along for the ride makes EVERYTHING so much better!! :)

Leslie & Shane {Married} :: Settlemier Mansion, Oregon ::

September 25th, 2011

I’m not even sure how to start this post. When I think of Leslie and Shane I get warm fuzzies deep down. Jeremiah and I drove to Portland last week to photograph this wedding that he had booked via Craigslist. Just the thought of that creeps me out. We could’ve been driving to meet weirdos and photograph the weirdest “portland” wedding of the century. Turns out I met my Wedding Soul-Mate in Leslie. We instantly bonded the day before at their family shoot when Leslie quoted Hook. Yeah, she’s my kinda girl. And the wedding?! AHH! I told her she could just bundle the whole thing up and give it to me and I’d be happy. We showed up that day and heard Pride and Prejudice music playing in the back ground, instant SWOON. We even had a “Jane Austen” moment with all the bridesmaids in their pretty light gray dresses on the balcony of the Settlemier House in Woodburn, Oregon. LOVED that place. A LOT.

FIRST LOOK!!!!! It took everything in me not to cry on the stairs!

LOVED this moment! Leslie’s brother married them and had them look at each other and said “Remember this moment”

Be sure to watch the Slideshow made by Jeremiah Daniel Photography!!!!! I kinda love him. :)

Brittany & Craig {Married}

September 25th, 2011

Meet the lovely Brittany and Craig. I LOVE THEM. I’ve known Brittany since 4th grade and we were instand bff’s! I’m so excited for the man God brought into her life and the new adventure of marriage that now awaits them! It was such an honor to document their day and see them come together as one. Brittany’s grandpa, Pastor Ross married them and it very much added to the day! Love you Brittany and Craig!!!!
First Look!!! I love a good first look, so special!

Garrett {Senior} :: Flathead High School ::

September 24th, 2011

Ummm, this blog post is going to be a bit longer than usual…for obvious reasons. This handsome hunky dude’s name is Garrett. I’m not gonna say much more since I’m sure everyone will just skip to the pictures. I’ll just say this though. Garrett’s parents, nicely done. Maddy, you’re one lucky little lady! ;)
